Lisa’s 5-Stone Transformation: Real Weight Loss After 50 Without Counting Calories

When Lisa saw a photo from a family event in summer 2024, she didn’t recognise herself.

At 58 years old and 16 stone, she felt uncomfortable in her body, frustrated with how hard it was to move around the tennis court, and stuck in leggings because nothing else fit.

But she wasn’t ready to give up on feeling strong, confident, and healthy again.

“That photo was my wake-up call…”


Lisa had always been active and played competitive tennis, but her energy had dropped, her confidence was low, and no diet seemed to work long-term.

“I’ve always had a bit of an issue with food,” she told me. “I lost weight before through obsessive calorie counting, gym visits, and eating separate meals from the rest of the family. But it never lasted.”

She had tried the “hard and fast” approach before. But what she needed was something sustainable, something real, and something that would fit in with her family life.

Fast Forward to Today…


Lisa recently checked back in and shared this update:

“I’ve lost over 5 stone now! I feel great. I’m back running—slowly—but I don’t think that matters. I’m in size 10 clothes and smiling so much more.”
